The great hall
Vaulted · doors to both gardens
The spine of the house, and where thirty can sit down without rearranging anything.

Villa Lungomonte is let on an exclusive-use basis. You take the whole property — fifteen bedrooms in the main house and two cottages in the grounds — and no one else is on site while you are here. There is no reception, no other party and nothing shared.
That is a commercial decision as much as an aesthetic one. A house of this age does not divide well, and the people who love it most are the ones who get all of it at once.
All of it is yours. There is nothing here to choose between.

The bedrooms were furnished over generations rather than decorated in one go, and it shows: a corona-draped bed against coral walls in one room, twin beds with carved green headboards in the next, an eighteenth-century canvas over the beds in a third.
All fifteen are air-conditioned. The bathrooms are period pieces in their own right — cast-iron baths, cobalt and patterned floors — with modern plumbing behind them.

Seven nights in high season, with Saturday changeovers. Shorter stays are sometimes possible in spring and autumn — ask.
Yes. The villa is on a hill road above Asciano Pisano, thirty minutes from Pisa airport. There is parking for eight cars.
Yes. The villa is licensed for civil ceremonies and the lower lawn seats one hundred and twenty. We work with a small number of planners who know the house.
Every bedroom is. The ground-floor rooms have metre-thick walls and stay cool without it, which is how the house was designed to work.
A housekeeper comes daily and the pool is maintained twice a week. Cooks, drivers and childcare can be arranged and are billed separately.
